HELLO COWORKERS:
I would like to let everyone know if they are not already aware that the $20.00 application fee for the women of the moose has been waived until Sept 30, 2020. This is a perfect opportunity ladies, as a member to sponsor friends, and relatives to become a member of the Women Of The Moose.
August should be fun month for the W.O.T.M. On Aug 4th 2020 @ 7:00 P.M. the W.O.T.M and L.O.O.M will cohost a new member orientation, with a guest speaker, that is a former graduate of Moose Heart. All new members are encouraged to attend, as well as any other members that wish to attend there will be snacks & refreshments.
On August 15, 2020 from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. the W.O.T.M. will present a Paint & Sip party in the Moose Lodge come out and learn basic painting skills and create your own masterpiece. Due to the Coronavirus, seating will be on limited availability, there is a signup sheet that is posted on the W.O.T.M. bulletin board in the social quarters.
Join the W.O.T.M. and the Moose Heart Committee this Saturday, August 22 starting at 5PM! We have aLasagna Dinner with a multi-decade dance. The dance will start at 7PM Costumes are encouraged and the music will span several decades, and don’t forget those requests!
Cost of the meal is just $10PP/cash only. The meal will include Lasagna, salad, garlic bread, and a dessert. The W.O.T.M would like for you to come out and have a good time! The proceeds will benefit the Children of Moose Heart & other local charities.
I am happy to report that the attendance of our Chapter 1853 meetings are beginning to grow. So many thanks to all of our coworkers for making this happen. Meetings are scheduled the 2nd and 4thTues of the month at 7:00 P.M. All current & active coworkers are encouraged to attend.
