I can’t thank enough those who continue to serve and volunteer at our lodge!
July seems like it has just flown by! Thank you Fran for all the yummy desserts you have made for fish fry. We had a lot of FUN at the Bowling Tournament! Our fish fry continues to be steady, thank you to all who continue to support it. East Mesa had a great turnout for District Meeting on the 16th! We also mourn the loss of Janice M Posch. We will truly miss her!

On the calendar for August we have…

2 Hott training class postponed due to a memorial being held the same day. Fish Fry every Friday from 5pm -8pm. There will be NO Fish Fry on Friday 8/25/17 due to Mid year Conference. WOTM meetings are 2nd & 4th Tuesdays starting at 7pm with social hour at 6pm. Please come and join us.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:  We have an awesome opportunity to help the LOOM feed starving children. We will be putting together food packets from 6-8pm on 8/31/17. Watch for more info in the lodge.  REMINDER:  Make sure you get your registration in to Lori for Mid year conference.  Joyce and her Committee are working hard to make this a great experience! We look forward to seeing you there.

I had the opportunity to go to Tampa this year for International, let me just say “It was AWESOME!” I made new friends, learned a lot, ate the best sushi ever, saw some incredible sites, listened to one of our graduates from Moose Heart talk & sing a song she wrote (which made all of us cry), sat front & center with Verna Miller & some amazing women at Academy of Friendship breakfast, was able to talk to Barbara McPherson(only for a minute), but most of all, was able to spend time with some pretty amazing people! Thank you to those who made my trip to Tampa possible & fun! I am blessed!

Forget not to be patient with yourself. Forget not the difference between a good sacrifice and a foolish sacrifice. Forget not to be happy now. Forget not that the Lord Loves you.

Live in the moment, Let go of the past, Look forward to the future! Never let anyone take your Peace!
